Iran: more December 30, 2012

Yesterday four men were vier hanged in the prison of Yazd.
The men, "A.B.", "R.D." and "N.B." were convicted for rape. "M. A. A." was convicted for possessing and trafficking of 980 grams of heroin and 38750 grams of opium.

The brother of the founder of Defenders of Human Rights Center humanrightslawyer Mohammad Ali Dadkhah told International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that the lawyer is under heavy pressure in Evinprison to confess against himself and to accept charges leveled against him.
He also is showing signs of impaired memory.

The National Iranian Oil Company plans to buy the airport of Ahwaz due to the existence of oil deposits under the airport.

UNITY, the official paper of CFMEU, the Australian Construction, Forestry, Mining en Energy Union has launched  a campaign for the imprisoned Iranian painter Shahrokh Zamani. Zamani, member of Follow-Up Committee to Set Up Free Labour Organisations in Iran and the Painters’ Union of Teheran, was arrested last year in June and is convicted to 11 years in prison on charges of propaganda against the regime.

The father of Zahra Rahnavard, the wife of Mir Hossein Mousavi died on December 29th.
She was allowed to leave the house and visit the body of her father under heavy security from security agents.
