Iran: more December 8, 2012

At least 27 girls suffered burns as a result of a fire caused by an oil heater at an elementary school in the village of Shin Abad in the city of Piranshahr, which is located in  West Azerbaijan Province.
37 students were attending the class. After the heater caught fire, the teacher called one of the service staff to take the heater out of the class instead of taking the students out of the room, and the heater fell from his hands and the fire spread.
A number of the wounded sustained burns over more than 50 percent of their bodies.
The incident raised multiple questions.

At a carcrash on Zahedan-Zabol highway in Sistan-Baluchestan province 9 people were killed and 2 others were wounded.
All were members of two families.One of the drivers lost control of the vehicle.

2 Iranian warships docked Saturday in Port Sudan. This is the second port call by the Iranian navy in Sudan in five weeks.
Sudanese authorities said it was a "normal" port call.

Two bahai Zahra Nik-A’in and Taraneh Torabi are in the prison of Semnan serving a sentence of 23 and 20 months in prison, respectively. Both women have infants.

Blogger (Yek Varaghe Pareh Digar (another torn sheet of paper), member of One Million Signatures Campaign and womanactivist Maryam Bahreman has been sentenced to 8 months with suspension in prison .
May 2, 2011 she was arrested in her house in Shiraz on accusation of acting against national security. She spent 126 days in the prison of Shiraz and Evin prison before she was released on a bail of $250,000 .
