Iran: verdict January 16, 2013

The verdicts against the on 23 August 2012 arrested voluntary earthquake aidworkers in West-Azerbaijan were issued by the revolutionary court in Tabriz.
Kalame reported:
Sayed Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, 2 years imprisonment,
Behrooz Alavi, 2 years and 3 months imprisonment,
Hamid Reza Mosibian, 2 years and 6 months imprisonment,
Vahed Kholosi, 2 years imprisonment,
Bahram Shojaei, 2 years imprisonment.
Farid Rohani, Sayd Hassan Ronaghi Maleki, Shayan Vahdati, Masoud Vafabakhsh, Hooman Taheri, Sepeh Saheban, Daniel Hasani, Ali Mohamadi, Morteza Esmaeilpour, Mohamad Arjomandirad, Mohamad Esmaeil Solaimanpour, Mohamad Amin Salehi, Mohsen Sameei, Milad Panahipour and Amir Ronasi have each been sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.
According to the verdicts issued all were found guilty of participation in assembly and collusion with intent to act against the national security.

On January 13 Shahin Negari, a professor at Baha’i virtual university in Tehran has been arrested in his house by security agents to serve his sentence of 4 years in prison.

The supreme court confirmed the execution order of Kurdish political prisoner Reza Mollazadeh, 25 from Salmas. This means that he can be executed any day.
He was arrested in the summer of 2011 and until he telephoned from Evinprison and informed them about his execution verdict, his situation was unknown.
