Sunday is in Iran-Shahr, Sistan-e-Baluchestanprovince a political prisoner identified as Mohammad Askani, publicly hanged for
his alleged role in the killing of two of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s bodyguards,december last year.
Also Sunday, another man named Najibollah Qayoumi is publicly hanged.
He was accused of drugs trafficking.


On This site is a up till now not confirmed report about 6 men, publicly hanged in the city of Zahedan, Sistan-e-Baluchestan.
The men, only named Behzad N., Mohammad-Amin H., Abdollah Sh., Mohsen S., Majid K., and Nader K. were all members of the Jondullahgroup, led by Abdolmalek(Rigi).
They were convicted for abducting European tourists and armed robbery, the daily Ayande-No said.




In Iran deathpenalty is in use. Also for child offenders.
