Iran: victory small & big

According to Reuters Iran has hailed the elections for council and The Assembly of Experts.
There was a turnout of about 60 per cent of the electorate.

Complete results aren't official yet, but it looks like candidates allied to Ahmadinejad, Iran's president, have failed to score.
For the Assembly of Experts Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani surprisingly seems to be the big winner.
Although the results for Tehran city council are not expected until next week, unofficial reports indicate the body would be shared between a mixture of reformists who breach herewith conservative domination, , Ahmadinejad allies and (neo)conservatives.
