A man is flogged 100 times in public in the city of Behshar, Mazandaran province. Daily Etemaad Melli wrote that the man was sentenced for filming his sexual relations with married women.






On January 6 Dr. Hessom Firoozi, the physician from imprisoned studentleader Ahmad Batebi is arrested and transported to Evinprison, ward 209.
According to an interview by Radio Deutsche Welle with Dr.Firooz' wife, he is arrested for giving medical assistance to Mr. Batebi.
In the interview she told that she has no idea when he will be released. Also she told that her husbands lawyer is Mr. Khalil Bahramian.
