Iran: cold

An Iranian journalist who worked for the now banned reformist Yas-e No and the centrist Shargh newspapers has been arrested, 40 days ago.
Ali Farahbakhsh was arrested returning from Thailand where he attended a meeting.
According to ISNA he head of prisons in Tehran province, Sohrabe Soleymani, confirmed Farhabakhksh was currently in Evinprison.
The reason for his arrest is unknown.


Iran has still not restored full natural gas exports to Turkey.
After suspending the deliverance to Turkey, due to sudden cold in Iran, are since last Wednesday, despite promises,only small quantities of gas beginning to flow.

Meanwhile Turkey found supplies elsewhere, mainly from Russia's Blue Stream pipeline.
Iran's daily shipments of 27m cubic metres of gas normally make up around one third of Turkey's total imports.






Deputy Interior Minister Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr said that supporters of the Abdol-Malik Rigi group are involved at the recent bombings in city of Zahedan, province Sistan-e-Baluchestan.
He reported also that a number of its members are arrested.
