Student/blogger Kianush Sanjari has been released from prison December 27, after paying a huge bail of $100,000.He was arrested in October during clashes in the capital between police and supporters of the Ayatollah Kazemeyni Boroujerdi. Many have been released, but Ayatollah Boroujerdi reportedly remains in prison.

He said he he does not want to comment on the circumstances of his arrest, because of the limitations laid upon his freedom.
He told about he was blindfolded and beaten by a man in Evinprison ward 209, who told him he would be among those who would be executed.
Also he spent a month and a half in solitary confinement, a method referred to as "white torture", where prisoners are often held in solitary confinement for long periods, with no contact with the outside world.
Sanjari calls it one of the worst forms of torture and that solitary confinement -- which wages war on the soul and mind of a person -- can be the most inhuman form of white torture for people.
The charges against Sanjari are still unclear and no date has been announced for a trial.
