Iran: goal

Brigadier General Esmaeel Ahmadi-Moqaddam, Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Police(IRIP), told IRNA that IRIP is determined to confront any misconduct and corruption among law enforcement forces.
When any police officer violates regulations, he will be prosecuted in a special court.
Also the border security plan should be concluded by late September. The main goal is to clear the boundaries of aliens, mostly Afghan and Pakistan citizens who illegally infiltrate Iran's eastern borders,


Reports say that the former FBI-agent Robert Levinson, who disappeared on Kish-island, was arrested and released by Iran and returned to USA.
US officials have not confirmed this.
A spokesman for the FBI also revealed that the FBI is unable to confirm the reports.



Yaghub Yadali, the Iranian writer who was detained in Yasuj, has been released end of April.
The date of Yadali's trial has not been announced. His release comes a few days after his wife and an Iran-based human rights group expressed concern about his fate.
