Iran: heavy

June 18, a woman is hanged in the city of Gorgan, sentenced to death for incest.
She got pregnant from her brother.
The brother who is younger than her, was absolved for his penitence.
The child was cosigned to the welfare-state.



According to an Iranian blog Delaram Ali, one of the women, arrested last year during the peaceful woman's demonstration for legal rights in Tehran, is sentenced to
6 months in prison for "propaganda against the system",
2 years in prison for "participating in an "illegal" gathering",
4 years in prison and 10 time of whipping on the back for "disturbing people and the social order".
Several other women were sentenced to jail for taking part in the protest, but Delaram Ali was given the most severe punishment.


Newsagency Fars reported that late Monday a mortar shell was fired at a petrol station in East-Tehran.
The device failed to explode.

According to a witness, bomb disposal experts arrived to the scene to defuse the device.




In Iran there are childoffenders, still on death row.
