The Iranian government wants to address the shortcomings of its petrol rationing program by adding thousand extra buses to the public transportation system.
A special ceremony will be held on Saturday for introducing the buses.
At the end of September another 880 buses will be added.
Following the July 26 petrol rationing program, President Ahmadinejad underlined that major changes would be implemented in the transportation system to solve transportationproblems and promote a greener environment.



The Department of Environment announced plans to three checks on oil and non-oil pollutants in Hormozgan, Bushehr and Khuzestan.
Pollution from oil, gas and petrochemical industries and other factories located in the south at Mahshahr, Asalouyeh and Bandar Abbas are according to deputy head Mohammad Baqer Nabavi,the three main environmental crisis areas.




The situation in Iran for children awaiting execution worsened.
At the moment 79 names are known from children, sentenced to death.
In the last 10 days four names have been added.
Worldwide are 85 children facing execution; 79 in Iran, 2 in Saudi Arabia, 2 in Sudan and 2 in Yemen.
