Iran: shift

According to the spokesman of the Guardian Council, 73% of the nominees are approved to the election of March 14.
Of 7,597 hopefuls, the Guardian Council has so far approved qualifications of 5,538 but these figures can change.
The final list will be presented to the Interior Ministry by March 3.
106 nominees have called for having their constituencies changed.



Deputy head of the National Iranian Oil Company for international affairs says Iran has completely dropped dollar in its oil sales.
He said: “We issue invoices in dollars and agree with clients that the letters of credit and other means of payment will have a non-dollar basis.".
In an interview with The Financial Times he said that over the past three months, Iran has received 75 percent of the proceeds from its oil sales in euros and 25 percent in yen.


The CEO of the Austrian Oil and Gas Group OMV AG has said that his company will not quit its project in the South Pars gas field.
OMV has recently been under pressure to cancel the billions of euro's gas deal with Iran.
