The daily Qods (fa) reports that in Dezfur, Khuzestan province, a father killed his 24-year-old daughter by hitting her with a hammer and try to burn her body.
He told the police that she had been engaged in temporary marriages without his permission, and she had moral "issues".
He also told the police that he told his wife that he would kill her too if she told the police.
He was suspected for the murder since honour killings are frequent in the province of Khuzestan.
According to the newspaper Iran (fa) a father killed his 18-year-old daughter in the city of Birjand, South Khorasan province, by strangulation and disposed of the body in the river.
At first the man said that his daughter committed suicide, but later he confessed to killing her and dumping the body in the river.
The man, Brat Ali (47), told the police he was suspicious of his daughter and had warned her not to continue her acts and respect his and her husbands honor.
President Ahmadinejad ordered Bank Refah to change its name.
From now the bank has to go by the name of Bank Refah Kargaran (Workers Welfare Bank).
