With 188 votes in favor, 14, against and 45 votes abstained is Interior Minister Ali Kordan impeached.
Ali Kordan confessed of holding a forged Oxford University degree.




GlobalVoicesOnline reports that former jailed blogger Mojtaba Saminejad writes (fa)> in his blog that he and his wife are threatened by security agents because of his blog and political ideas.
He also writes that his wife has been under pressure by security agents to complain against him.



A group of journalists from Zanjan province published a statement in which they protest against the increasing censorship on the press and say that they now feel more than ever threatened by job insecurity.
