Iran: meanwhile

ICSAnews reported November 7th that in the south of Iran two men are hanged.
The men,Hassan and Ali were sentenced to death by hanging for kidnapping and murdering a schoolboy last yearon Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.
November 7 the daily Quds said that in Vakhilabadprison in Mashhad a man is hanged for a murder he committed in 2004.

The father of Esha Momeni says according to PressTV in an interview that he knew nothing about his daughter's activities, but that he now knows they were illegal.
He said that when he and his wife found out that their daughter was involved in illegal activities, they refused to meet with her because they were angry about what she had done.
According to the father of Esha Momeni, the reports in some newspapers about the arrest are not true and he did never gave an interview to the media.
Her family is under a lot of pressure not to talk with the media.
In a interview on the site of the OneMillionSignaturesCampaign says lawyer Nasrin Sotoodeh among other things that within the two years of the commencement of the One Million Signatures Campaign, roughly 50 volunteers and activists involved in this Campaign have been arrested.
In none of these cases, the assigned judges could identify the request for “Change for Equality” as an illegal movement.


Reports say that Sadeq Mahsouli an aide to president Ahmadinejad and a university professor will be appointed caretaker for the Interior Ministry. Mahsouli holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.



The Second Branch of the revolutionary courts of Sanandaj has sentenced Yasser Goli to 15 years prison term in exile.
Yasser Goli was arrested 13 months ago and the first secretary of the Kurdish Student union of Iranian Universities and a civil activist in Sanandaj.
According to his lawyer was the sentence no more then 10 lines long.
The sentence was supposedly based on article 168 of the Islamic penal code and has no reference on any evidence provided against Yasser Goli.
