Iran: catch

Officials of the special services Ettelaat arrested five activists of the movement for rights of South Azerbaijanis in Urmia.
According to information of the Committee for Protection of Rights of South Azerbaijanis. the arrested are: Ulduz Gasimi, Rahman Gasimi, Seid Mahmudi, Nevid Sultani, Tohid Hasanpur .
Their houses were searched and documents, computers, CD's and more were confiscated.


Iran has confiscated ten oil tankers smuggling 4,600 tons of Iranian fuel out of the Persian Gulf.
A Hormozgan province official said that out of the ten tankers seized in the Persian Gulf over the past year, eight have been registered as foreign vessels with foreign crew on board. He added that fuel smuggling has increased by 232 percent compared to the last year.

The Iranian ambassador in Denmark, protested on Monday to the Danish customs, police and security officials over misconduct with Iranian passengers at Copenhagen airport.
Officers of the Copenhagen airport "unusually" checked Iranian passengers in the latest Iranian flight to the Danish capital by getting t all money the passengers had with themselves and caused long delays.
During the meeting with the Iranian Embassy representative, the airport officials apologized for the mistreatment and promised to stop repeating illogical and inappropriate behavior in future.
The passengers will file suit to report the amount of the money taken from them by the Danish policemen.
