Iran: removed

December 15 is in the prison of Mashhad a man hanged.
The name of the man was unrevealed but he was twice convicted for murder.



Newspaper Quds reports that in the prison of Kermanshah the hand of a man is amputated.
The man who was not identified, was convicted of robbery, and sentenced to 6 months in prison and 30 lashes, besides amputation of his hand.



Shirin Ebadi called on Monday for the release of Hossein Derakhshan, nicknamed "the Blogfather".
According to a fiend of Derakhshan he was November 1 arrested during a visit to Iran. Other reports say he has been charged with spying.
Derakhshan (33) is a journalist who moved to Toronto, Canada in 2000.
He has made blogging popular in Iran by publishing instructions on how to use blogging software to publish blogs in Farsi and English.
His own blog, "Editor: Myself"has not been updated since October.
The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran confirmed the arrestation of Derakhshan.
It is not know where he is being held of what the charges are.
After his arrest he was allowed four brief telephonecalls with his family, but the last was two weeks ago.


In Iran there are childoffenders, still on death row.

Children are being hanged to death.
A child will be hanged to death.
