Iran: in and out

In the prison of Zahedan, Sistan-e-Baluchestan province, are two men hanged.
Newsagency Fars reported that the men, H.F. and A.N. were convicted for drugstrafficking.



Mojtaba Lotfi, an aide of Grand Ayatollah Hossein-Ali Montazeri is sentenced to four years in prison by a court in Qom.
He was arrested in Qom in October after publishing comments on a website by Montazeri, who criticized Iranian leaders over restrictions on freedom in the Islamic republic.


Trendnews Agency reports that Iran has accelerated the expell of Afghan workers through Abrishim Bridge, Nimroz province, Afghanistan.
Recently 8850 Afghan youth and 35 families were expelled here.
According to an Afghan official more then 5000 youth have been deported from Iran within three days, while most of them have legal refugee cards.


The Housing and Urban Development Organization has planned two new residential townships in the city of Tehran.The newspaper Donya-ye Eqtesad wrote that these townships are in line with the government plan to organize and expand residential townships in the outskirts of major cities .
The names of the townships are Soltanabad-e Rey and Qeshlaq Khandan.
In the township Soltanabad-e Rey 15,000 housing-units will be constructed.The plan for this is ratified, while the one for the Qeshlaq Khandan township is still under study at the Urbanization Council.


Abdalla Salem El-Badri, secretary general of OPEC told reporters that OPEC will cut production in December.
He could not say how much the cut would be, but "there will be an action because we're seeing that stocks are high."
