Iran: word of mouth?

According to the website of National Council of Resistance in Iran are Sunday 4 unidentified men hanged in the city of Bandar Abbas.



Azerbaijan activists Ibrahim Abdullanejad, Ali Halmi, Ali Huseynnejad Asl, Mohsun Huseynzade, Sabir Beytullahi and Bahman Nasirzade were sentenced to 10 months in prison by the revolutionary court in Khoi.
They are found guilty in hold propaganda against the statehood of Iran and spreading the ideas of panturkism.
Online newspaper Today.AZ also reported that these sentences are for taking part in the actions against publication of cartoons, humiliating Azerbaijanis, in the Iran newspaper in 2007.



Iran is willing to discuss an increase in its gas supplies to Turkey since the gasflow from Ukraine stopped.
An Iranian embassy official in Ankara, said on Tuesday that Iran could increase its current daily gas exports of 18 million cubic meters to Turkey if Ankara is facing a shortfall.
The Russian Gazprom cut gas to Ukraine over financial problems so gas deliveries to Bulgaria, Greece and Macedonia and Turkey have also been halted.



The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that Iran will start extensive diplomatic efforts to stop the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
He said that president Ahmadinejad sent 22 envoys to several Asian and European states in a bid to end the Israelian hostilities and to end the blockade in Gaza.
The spokesman did not clarify to which countries the president's envoys were sent.
Iran has more then once expressed her support for Hamas in the conflict.
