According to the Mediaform website three activists of the movement for rights of South Azerbaijanis, the brothers Magomed Sadig Asl, Ibrahim Sadig Asl, Ramin Sadig Asl, were arrested by officials of the department Ettelaat in Ardebil.
During a search, books, documents and a computer were confiscated.
Where they are now is not being specified.
On the site Iran Human Rights Voices is an interview with Mohammad Sayadi, political director of the Islamic Society at Buali Sina University in Hamedan.
He is sentenced January 19 by the court in Hamedan in a closed trial session without the presence of a lawyer, to six and a half year in prison.
He was charged according to articles 498, 500 and 514 of Islamic Penal Code, accusing him of disturbing national security, acting against the regime, and insulting the founders of the government.
Before the trial he has also been suspended from study at the university and spent three days in a jail from the Ministry of Intelligence.

The prosecutor for Tehran told ISNA that the cases were investigated and will be sent to the revolutionary court next week.
The charges are: espionage for Israel, insulting religious sanctities and propaganda against the Islamic republic.
He did not say if the seven being charged were the same as those arrested in January.
