Iran: result

An official of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology told IRNA that Iran will open new branches of its universities in Syria, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Venezuela, Comoros, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
With these extensions Iran wants to encourage international scientific cooperation.




Reports on the state radio say that four members of Iran's security forces have been killed by an explosion set off in a booby-trap attack near the Pakistani border.The four agents are buried Friday in Zahedan, Sistan-e-Baluchestan province.
Two others got wounded. They did not specify when the men were killed.
There are regularly clashes with heavily armed drug smugglers and bandits on the Pakistan border.

A court sentenced three men to death for bombing a mosque in the city of Shiraz in april last year.
According to Press-TV, the spokesman for the judiciary said that 15 people were on trial of which seven of the suspected terrorists were charged with involvement in the attack, three of whom have confessed to being brainwashed by a Western terrorist cell.
At the bombattack on a mosque in Shiraz were 14 people killed and 102 people wounded.


The Baha’i World News Service denied all charges against 7 Baha'i.
A report from ISNA says that the seven individuals would be tried on charges including espionage for Israel, insulting religious sanctities and propaganda against the state.
Wednesday Baha'i World News Service reported that there is no evidence and all charges are denied.
The seven were arrested in March and May 2008 and held in Tehran’s Evin Prison,they have been denied access to their legal counsel, Shirin Ebadi.
