Last week 1,000 workers of Dena Tire and Rubber Company in Shiraz went on strike.
they strike for their unpaid salaries and an amount owed to them by the management from the last year (Persian calendar year starting March 21).
Dena Tire and Rubber Company is manufacturer of all types of tire, tube and flap for passenger cars, light trucks and truck & bus vehicles, which is formed after Bridgestone Iran was privatized in 1994.

Daily Kayhan wrote that Saturday in the city of Isfahan 13 musicians were arrested.
According to the police they were composing and recording songs in the basement of a house, for a satellite-channel.
Police sized 90 CDs, a satellite receiver and an optional disk drive.
Police said that the musicians admitted to having connections with a satellite channel abroad.
