Newsagency Fars reports that five men were hanged in the prison of Kerman.
The men were identified as Saeed D., Sattar N., Mahmood M., Majid P. en Sarvar V. and were executed for drugssmuggle.
The report didn’t mention whether the executions took place yesterday May 6. or today May 7.

More then 1000 candidates registered online already for the presidential elections in Iran.
Candidates have 4 days after May 5th to officially register.
After this the Guardians Council evaluate the candidates and announce individuals meeting the council's approval on May 20th and 21st.
