Iran: conditions

In the prison of the city of Taibad, Khorasan province are 8 people hanged.
The website of the police said they were all convicted for drugstrafficking.
The people were unidentified.

Reports say that Wednesday, May 6, 2 juvenile offenders will be executed.
Amir Khaleghi, 18, is convicted for a murder he committed at the age of 16, when he stabbed another boy with a knife.
Initially he was scheduled to be executed on February 22, but it was postponed after orders from the Iranian judiciary.
The other minor, Safar Angooti, 19 is convicted for a murder he committed when he was 17.

IRNA reports that at least 30 people, among them women and children, have been killed at a roadaccident with a bus near the city of Chavar, Ilam province.
7 passengers were seriously injured.
The people were on pilgrimstour to Iraq.
The governor said the passengerbus had mechanical problems and hit the building after its driver could not manage the vehicle.

A Russian warship freed eight Iranian nationals from Somalian pirates.They have been captured for 80 days.

Mohammad Karim Abedi,, an Iranian parlementarian and member of Foreign Policy and National Security Commission of the Iranian parliament,says that businessmen should boycott the UAE in a sign of protest.
He said this after a torture videotape involving an Abu Dhabi prince was surfaced. In this video Sheikh Issa bin Zayed al-Nahyan,, the brother of the sheikh of UAE, is torturing a man.
Abedi, who believes the torture video is only a shred of the abundant evidence of human rights violations in the UAE, said misconduct is part of the history of the country.
The UAE Interior Ministry has claimed that the incidents depicted in the video tapes were not part of a pattern of behavior.
