ISNA reported that the death toll from the gunbattle between Iranian police and PEJAKfighters last week in Kermanshah has risen to 26.
Of those killed , 18 were policemen and eight were fighters from PEJAK.
Five persons were arrested, suspected of participating in this attack.

The Iranian Intelligence Minister said that a group of arrested people are linked to the Shiraz bombing.The group is less than 10 people.
They wanted to carry out a wave of explosions in religious and political centers in Tehran to disturb the presidential elections in June.
The head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said however he has confidence in secure presidential elections.

Reporters without Borders report that Roxana Saberi was May 1st transfered to the Evin prison hospital. Not only is she 13 days on hungerstrike, she had stopped taking liquids. Her father said she has weakened but she is still determined to go all the way.
Reporters without Borders has handed a petition and list of signatures at the Iranian embassy. The petition was among others undersigned by the former justice Robert Badinter, journalist Florence Aubenas, photographer Reza Deghati and actor Charles Berling. Shirin Ebadi yesterday voiced her support for Saberi and Reporters Without Borders.

after going just a day after the presidency of the EU sent a communiqué condemning the execution of Delara Darabi. The government of Iran has responded with the news Wednesday that the May 6 and Amir Khaleghi Safar Angooti, the two old Merores be executed. I wonder what will make the EU and the UN Will photocopy of the same release, but with the name of them as always condemning his execution? Stop or look the other way, and beginning to punish Iran for what you are doing. If these guys are putting the rope around their necks is not responsible for the government of Iran, but the rest of country by consent
