EU condemns strongly the execution of Delara Darabi in a statement.
In the statement the EU urgently calls on Iran to avoid any juvenile executions and to eliminate the death penalty for juveniles from its penal code.
Such human rights violations erode the ground for understanding and mutual trust between Iran and the European Union.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said that the appeal of Roxana Saberi will be considered based on justice and Islamic compassion.
Earlier this week the Deputy Head of the Iranian prosecutor's office said that Saberi has a chance of sentence reduction on appeal.
Roxana Saberi, an American-Iranian journalist is convicted to eight years in prison for spionage.

A spokesman for the Kurdish Peshmerga border guards said that Saturday Iran shelled the mountain area of Choma Sar.
There were no casualties.
The shelling followed clashes between Iranian police and guerrillas from the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK).
