Iran: vain

Delara Darabi is executed May 1 in the prison of Rasht.
Last month there were actions all over the world to save her life.
Her lawyer, Mohammad Mostafaei wrote on his weblog that although the head of Iranian judiciary her execution had been postponed for two months, she was hanged in the early hours of May 1st.
Her lawyers were not informed.
Amnesty International says that this indicates that even decisions by the Head of the Judiciary carry no weight and are disregarded in the provinces and this is a cynical move on the part of the authorities to avoid domestic and international protests which might have saved Delara Darabi's life.

On the site of Stop Child Executions is a report of the lawyer of Delara Darabi in which he writes that her mother received a phonecall at 0700 in the morning by Delara who told her that she was going to be hanged.
Then another voice came which said "We are going to kill your child and you cannot do anything about it”.
The order for the execution was issued by judge Javid Nia, a newly appointed judge in Rasht.
Since his appointment, one person has already been stoned to death.

In Iran there are childoffenders, still on death row.

Children are being hanged to death.
A child will be hanged to death.
