Iran: act + update

Yesterday were in Rajaee Shahr prison in the city of Karaj near Tehran 20 men hanged.
According to newsagency Fars they all were convicted of drug trafficking between 2004 and 2008, and were between 35 and 48 years of age.
Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, spokesman of Iran Human Rights says that 34 people have been executed in Iran in the past four days, and 26 of the executions have taken place in Tehran. He says that there is no doubt that these executions are meant to spread fear and intimidate people.
Several thousand people have been arrested and many of them are in danger of torture, forced confession and execution.
He added that the worldcummunity has to act before it is too late.

BBC reports that the eight employee of the British embassy will be released by Iran.
The lawyer for the ninth Iranian says he has been charged with acting against national security and is facing trial.
