Iran further

July 9th is Iranian-American Dr. Kian Tajbakhsh at his home in Tehran arrested His house was searched and they took his computer.
The reason for his arrest was not immediately known and he is brought to an unknown destination.
In 2007 Tajbakhsh was detained for four months on charges of endangering national security.

July 11, the trial against the 7 imprisoned members of BahaĆ­ faith is held.
They are charged with spionage for Israel, “insulting religious sanctities” and “propaganda against the Islamic Republic”. If convicted, they can be sentenced to death. They are imprisoned for more than a year.
Their lawyers have not had access to their clients though they have been able to read their files.They will legally represented by human rights lawyers Shirin Ebadi and Abdolfattah Soltani. But Soltani was arrested in Iran on June 16 and his whereabouts are unknown.

Tehran Police Chief Brigadier General Azizollah Rajabzadeh announced that a voluntary 50.000-strong special constable-like force called the 'honorary police officers'will be set up to assist police units.
After training, this concept might expand the honorary police force up to 300,000 throughout the country.
