July 22nd is in the prison of Semnan a man hanged.
The man, Mohammad Khalesipour was convicted of murder.

Mohammad-Reza Tabesh, parliament representative for the people from the city of Ardakan,said that according to Iran's general prosecutor, Ghorbnali Dari-Najafabadi, 2,500 people were arrested , 2,000 of whom have already been released.
The cases of 500 people who have been detained in recent events will be sent to judiciary centers by next week.
Previously, the police commander had announced that 1,032 people were detained during the unrest.

Faizullah Arab-Sorkhi, executive council member from the Islamic Revolutionary Mojahedin organization was Tuesday July 17th arrested in his house and taken to an unknown location.
Behzad Nabavi, Mohammad-Javad Emam, Shahab Pourghasemi, Majid Nairi, Sadegh Noroozi, and Amir-Hossein Mahdavi are other members of the Islamic Revolutionary Mojahedin organization who have been detained in recent weeks.

A Norooz reporter told that Mohammad-Reza Yazdanpanah was detained last night while he was returning home. Follow-ups by his wife have not been succesful.
He is a journalist who wrote for reformist papers such as Shargh, Kargozaran, Ham Mihan and Farhikhtegan.
In the same way as other detentions, none of the judicial or security organizations have assumed responsibility for the detention.
Including this arrest, the total number of Participation Front detainees that Norooz has been able to confirm stands at 20.

Wednesday started a three-day hungerstrike in front of the UN building in New York where a coalition of 30 intellectuals, scholars, pro-democracy activists and artists called for United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, to appoint a special representative to visit those detainees and press for their release.
Among them dissident Akbar Ganji and Googoosh.
