In the prison of Qom four men were hanged.The report didn’t say when exactly the hanging took place, but it is believed that the men were hanged July 20.
The men, Reza, Gholamhossein, Reza and Hossein were convicted of the sexual assault of the girl Narges in 2007.May 2008, were already five men hanged. A ninth man,Ali, is waiting for the final verdict.

In the prison of Isfahan are July 21st two men hanged.
The men, Esmaeil (23) and Moslem (28) were convicted of murder in two separate cases.

Ayatollah Hossein Kazemeyni Boroujerdi (wikipedia) is in a solitary cell at the central prison in Yazd for almost 80 days now .
After he wrote a letter to he Secretary General of the United Nations, in which he pronounced the Iranian government as an illegitimate government and requested a referendum to deal with the same matter, he has undergone at least one month-long hunger strike, and has spent some time at the prison hospital.
Human Rights Activists in Iran reports that Boroujerdi made repeated requests to meet with representatives of human-rights associations, attorneys, and the independent media, but had no success.
Moreover, he is even meeting with restrictions in his efforts to meet with his family.

With the increasing of political detainees in Evin prison, the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence are controlling more cells of Evin’s prison.The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence services not only controls cell #209, plus cell # 240 and 241, which used to be under the control of the Iranian judicial system. Also quarantine #7, a new constructed band is located in the basement of the counseling center # 7, is under control of the Ministry of Intelligence.
This cell has the capacity of 100 people, but currently house around 400 people.

Fars newsagency writes that the launch of Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant operation has been postponed.
In April it was said the Bushehrnuclear power plant will start to generate electricity from mid-summer, the Iranian ambassador in Moskou said that the company has a plan to launch the operation of Bushehr plant by the end of this year.
