In de Rajaee Shahrprison in Karaj are July 30th 24 men hanged.
The website Bornanews wrote that all men were convicted of drugstrafficking and that their sentences had been aproved by the Iranian supreme court.et Supreme Court.

This morning Ahmadinejad is sworn in as president of Iran.
State media report that there was no “disturbance of the peace” on major streets and traffic circles in the Iranian capital during the inauguration. The Associated Press, however, quoted witnesses as saying at least 10 people had been detained by police. Many MP's did not attend the ceremony.
There was a big security force in the streets around the Parliament building included police officers and helmet-clad Basij militia members.
