Iran: display

The filmproject in Tehran, to screening movies until late at night in theaters was stopped by police.
The project was a result of an agreement by the Department of Film Distribution and Marketing and the police.
The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance also concurred on the project.
The project caused ticket sales to jump over 5 times compared to box office receipts in previous months.
Especially young people welcomed the concept.
A reason is not known.
