him he said that he had not made such a statement, and that the authorities have lied.

PressTV reports that Sunday 22.936.000 shares (51%)
of Telecommunication Company of Iran (TCI) have been obtained by Etemad Mobin
consortium.
The consortium is composed of three companies, Mobin Electronics Development Company,
Shahryar Mehestan and Tose'e Etemad Investments.
ILNA describes the consortium as "quasi-governmental".
The TCI was the latest privatization from the government.
The only fully private-sector contender for the shares, Pishgaman Kavir Yazd Cooperative Company,already spent $15 millions on the preparations , before it was disqualified for "safetyreasons", a couple of hours before the bids opened.

TeleGeography reports that two of three companies of Etemad Mobin are controled by Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) the military elitegroup.
This means that the Iranian telecomcompany is in armyhands.
The managing director of Securities and Exchange Organisation of Iran said that the firm will be required to pay 20% of shares within 30 days to make the deal effective.
