Iran: investigated?

ISNA reported that in the prison of Bojnord a man was hanged.
The man was convicted for robbery and rape.

Saeed Shariati, one of Mousavi's campaign aides during the disputed June election is released. He was imprisoned since June.

The Iranian Ministry of Health reported that last week 42 people have died of Mexican flu/ swineflu/ A H1N1.
The death toll from the flu has come to 100 .
In the the past seven days 14 schoolstudents and 3 universitystudents have died,the country’s total number of H1N1 infected cases is 3,128.
Compared with the countries in the East-Mediterranean region, Iran’s death toll rate of the disease regarding its total population of over 70 million is not high.

The human rights group, International Christian Concern says that Maryam Rostampour, 27, and Marzieh Amirizadeh, 30 two Iranian Christian women, Wednesday were released.
They were arrested March 5 on charges with anti-government activities and facing charges of propagating the Christian faith and apostasy.
During their detention, they had been kept in solitary confinement and are in poor health.

Amnesty International urges Iran to carry out a full and independent investigation to the death of a young doctor who had worked at the Kahrizak detention centre.
Tehran chief of police said Wednesday that Dr Ramin Pourandarjani committed suicide after being summoned by the court and possibly facing five years of detention .
His father has told the Associated Press earlier that he was initially told that his son had broken his leg in a car accident and needed his consent for surgery.
When they travelled to Tehran, his son was dead.He also said his son had been in good spirits when he spoke to him the previous night.
Kahrikzakprison was closed in July, after allegations of abuses against detainees.
One of the victims was Mohsen Rouholamini, son of a conservative politician, whose dead drew widespread attention to the torture and killings in Kahrizak.
