Iran: happened

November 28 is political activist Ayoub Porkar sentenced to death.
He is charged with being a member of the MEK organization, which is listed as a Mohareb (enemy) group.
The verdict was ruled by judge Poor-Abassi of the 26th branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran after a short session behind closed doors.
In the past two months are at least 6 people, Mohammad-Reza Ali-Zamani, Hamed Rouhinejad, Naser Abdolhosseini, Arash Rahmanipoor, Ayoub Porkar and Reza Khademi sentenced to death in arbitrary trials.

Student Salman Sima, member of the Tahkim Vahdat Organization of Azad university, is November 14 arrested. His family visited him with authorization of the Revolutionary Court.
He has been severely beaten and suffered two broken ribs.
He is held in solitary confinement in an unheated cell in Evinprison and has been moved 5 times since his arrest.

Student Mohammad-Yousef Rashidi is arrested November 28 in his parents house. His family says that he is currently being held at the Intelligence Ministry’s detention center in the Mazandaran province and has started a hunger strike.
The student unit of HRA reports that he is a leftish student activist at Amir Kabir Polytechnische university,

who is expelled for his active role in the protests during visit and speech of Ahmadinejad to the university. During the protest, he held a big sign on which was written “Fascist president, Polytechnic is not a place for you".
He held the sign directly before Ahmadinejad.

More then threethousand students of Tehran university undersigned a petition inviting opposition leaders, Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, to attend Day of the Student ceremonies at 7 december (16 Azad).
December 7 protesters will once more take to the streets to march.

In Roudbar, Kerman province were four policemen killed during a fight with drugsmugglers.
The smugglers fled, but 200kg of drugs were confiscated.
The clashes broke out in an area between Roudbar and Zahkout,which is a smuggleroute. source: PressTV


At an explosion in Syrian capital Damascus in an Iranian bus with pilgrims, at least three people have died.
It happened near a gasstation, but according to the Syrian interiorminister said it was no terroristic attack, but a burst tyre had caused the blast.
