At the Ashuraprotests was Mostafa Kareembeigi, 27 killed by a single bullet in his forehead.
His personal belongings were not returned to hif family and were threatened not to hold a memorial service.
He is buried on the Behesht Zahra cemetary.

Today, the trial against 5 prisoners of the Ashuraprotests from 27 December started. ISNA reports that they are charged with moharebe(fighting with god).
The prosecutor demanded maximum punishment, the deathsentence. According to the prosecutor they are members of the terrorist Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) and monarchist groups and other illegal groups.
The MKO members have confessed they have been trained in MKO camps in Iraq and European countries and that they have been spying during Iran’s electoral campaigns.
Their names were not identified.

Reuters reports that former member of parliament and ex-head of the Iranian football-federation Mohsen Safaie Farahani, is sentenced to 6 years in prison. He was a senior reformist and backed Mousavi.
The opposition website Jaras announced that two members of the opposition party Freedom Movement, Solmaze Ali Moraddi and Farid Taheri are detained. The party is led by former minister Ebrahim Yazdi, who was detained last month.

The website Jaras reports that the political activist and member of the Freedom of Education Council Majid Dari, a student at Allameh-Tabatabaie university is sentenced to 11 years in prison.
Majid received a 1 year prison sentence for violating homeland security and 10 years for having contact with the Mojahedin Khalgh Organization.
According to the verdict, he must serve 5 years of his sentence in the city of Izeh province Khuzestan.
He was arrested on July 9 and his friends and family say that the accusations are baseless.
Mahdieh Golroo, Shiva Nazar Ahari, Saeed Jalalifar, Peyman Aref, Majid Dari, and Zia Nabavi are all members of Freedom of Education Council.
