Iran: gone

According to IRNA is in Ardebil January 21 a man hanged.
The man was not identified by name and he was convicted for murdering a man in 2007.

In a wave of arrests against sunnimoslems are in Khorasan Razavi province a number of clerics arrested who had recently graduated in Pakistan.
Their names are Moulavi Habib Hakimzadeh Kariz, Moulavi Sedigh Rashidi, Moulavi Abdulsatar Haydari, Moulavi Nourahmad Leghai, and Moulavi Abdulkarim Gol.
This happened a month ago and their whereabouts are unknown.
After two years of detention Moulavi Abdulali Khayrshahi, is convicted to 9 years of prison in exile.

The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran urges for the immediate release of Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Khalaji, who was arrested January 12th in Qom, and transferred to Evinprison in isolation. His family is threathened by authorities to to be punished if they let the news of his arrest come out.
After the election he and other clerics , the late Ayatollah Hussein Ali Montazeri, Ayatollah Yusuf Sanei, Ayatollah Seyed Jalal Al-din Taheri and Ayatollah Seyed Ali Mohammad Dastgheib have come out in support of protesters.
Recent pressure was followed by attacks on their offices (Beits) by plainclothes Basiji forces close to the government. Pro-government clerics have also tried to challenge the credentials of such Ayatollahs in order to pave the way for further pressure.

Sayyed Hassan Ahmadian,who worked for Mousavian has disappeared from Evinprison.Ahmadian was notified that he was transferred to an unknown location.
They went immediately to Evin where they were reassured that he was in ward 209.
The next day, they were told that he is no longer being kept in Evin.
Contacting hospitals provided them with no further information.

Six political activists in State Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad are arrested after a complaint of an extremistic cleric, Roohollah Hosseinian, prior to the Friday Prayer of Yasooj. After interrogation are Mrs Sayyed Zia’oddin Reza Toghifi, director of State’s Mojahedeen of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Reza Askari, head of the Participation Front, and Ali Khajooy, director of State’s Islamic Association of Teachers, together with Ghasem Yazdani, Latif Rastad en Hajir Tashakori, members of the Participation Front arrested on Wednesday.

January 18 is the writer, critic and freelance journalist Mehdi Jalil-Khani, from Zanjan arrested.
He is former editor of the Literature and Culturedepartment of the suspended weekly Mehre Zanjan, former headeditor of the banned magazine Ashragh and former member of the board of Board of Directors of the Literary Association of Ashragh He also is the son of Gholam Hossein Jalil-Khani, a representative of the people of Zanjan in the Fifth Islamic Parliament.
He is charged with insulting the leader and agitation and unsettling of public opinion,
He was freed on bail after 24 hours.
