Iran: upcoming NewYear

Iran temporarily released Kian Tajbakhsh from prison for Iranian NewYear holidays.
He is one out of more then 100 prisoners who stood trial in August 2009.
Tajbakhsh was convicted for espionage to 15 years in jail, but this was reduced in appeals court to five years in prison.

Seven days after securing bail for the detained journalists Akbar Montejabi, Vahid Pourostad, Ehsan Mehrabi, and Somayeh Momeni, there still is uncertainty abot their release.
According to newssite Kaleme the conditions for these journalists are worsened, and the interrogations intensified.
They have also returned to solitary confinement.
