The International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran made a report about the condition of prisoners of Evin Prison’s Ward 350, of Correctional Facility 3, where political prisoners are kept.
Except being overcrowded, the food in the ward is like in other wards in Evin prison (Wards 1, 7, 8, and the Women’s Ward) of extreme bad quality. It has caused food poisoning among the prisoners. The prisonstore also has irregular openingstimes and sometimes don't open at all.
More then 100 political prisoners live in five rooms on the lower floor. The free space in each room (space not covered by beds) is less than 15 sq. meters.
Prisoners in this ward also have to deal with the abusive and insulting behavior of 350’s Warden, Bozorgnia, who is famous for mistreating and abusing prisoners .
