In the prison of the city of Mianeh, East-Azerbaijan province is June 5 juni a man hanged. The man, Jalil B. (36) was convicted for drug trafficking and keeping of 4,5 kg crack and 200 g opium.

VOA reports that Iran jammed last Wednesday, the broadcast of a documentary about Neda Agha Soltan, the young woman who was murdered June 20 last year during the post-electional protests.
Many viewers informed the VOA about electricity failure, the moment the broadcast started.
VOA plans to re-broadcast the documentary June 12 and 20.

Mir Hossein Mousavi issued a statement, expressing his point of view regarding the events that happened at the ceremony commemorating the 21st anniversary of the passing of Ayatollah Khomeini, strongly condemned the organized insults made on Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of Ayatollah Khomeini, during this ceremony and called it an engineered plan.
