Journalist and member of the Committee of Human Rights Reporters (CHRR),Shiva Nazar Ahari who is detained since December 20 has her trial in court.
She is charged with "assembly and collusion to commit a crime", "propaganda against the state" and mohabereh (enmity against God) for her reporting and activism.
Amnesty International demands her immediate and unconditionally release.

Yesterday, after the QodsDay rally attacked a group of people with 150 plainclothed agents,attacked the Qoba-mosque in Shiraz.
They damaged the building and shouted insults to Ayattu’llah Seyyed Ali Mohammad Dastghaib.
People who were present at the mosque were injured by stones, sticks and iron rods in the attack.

191 "fast-breakers" have been arrested in Shiraz, by the interrogation Unit of the office of tge prosecutor in Shiraz who is implementing the “Punishing Fast-Breakers” to respect Islamic customs, and to protect the safety of citizens in Shiraz.
According to Aftab both governmental and non-governmental resources have been used in implementing this plan and 11 security, judicial, cultural and social organizations have been involved.

In Azerbeijan 6 people are sentenced with prisonsentences from 5,5 till 12 years for smuggling drugs from Iran to Azerbeijan.
They were arrested in the summer of 2009.
They are charged under Article 206.3.2 (smuggling), 234.4.1, 234.4.2, 234.4.3 (Illegal purchase or storage from narcotics in a quantity exceeding the necessity for personal consumption, on purpose to sell, fabricate or transfer or transport)from the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
