Democratic Republic of Iran publishes a summary of the opening remarks by the head of the Assembly of Experts Council in Iran, Ayatollah Rafsanjani as he opened the session on Tuesday.

The studentactivist Rahim Hemmati, a Nationalist-Religious activist and member of the Youth Branch of the Militant Muslim Movement (Jonbesh Mosalmanaan Mobarez), ),has disappeared since Sunday September 12th.
He was arrested various times and was held in isolation and in Ward 2A, Ward 240, Ward 7 and Ward 350 of Evinprison. In a showtrial he was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
He had previously been threatened by several individuals that had introduced themselves as agents from the Prosecutor’s Office.

Fariba Kamalabadi, Jamaloddin Khanjani, Afif Naeimi, Saeid Rezaie, Mahvash Sabet, Behrouz Tavakkoli, and Vahid Tizfahm were among other things accused of propaganda against the state and establishing an illegal administration.
After receiving their sentences they were moved from Evin Prison to Gohardasht prison.
