Iran: further

On the road from Chabahar to Zahedan was yesterday a bus stopped and six people were kidnapped.Five of them were soldiers from an airbase and the sixth was a bankemployee.
The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the group Jundullah.
IRNA reported September 18 that two of the hostages, 2 airforceofficers were freed by the IRGC.
They also denied that Jundullah was the hostagetaker.

Reports from inside Rajai Shahrprison say that the physical condition of Arzhang Davoudi is critical. Hij is 66 days in hungerstrike and his weight is 35 kg's.
He protests against the cutting of telephone privileges, the lack of investigation into his complaint about the head of Rajai Shahr prison Ali Hajkazem, and the confiscation and selling of his family’s home by orders of judge Haddad.
Two nights ago, Arzhang Davoudi’s telephone privileges were restored, but he insists to remain on hunger strike until all his demands are met.

De ashuragevangene Mohammad Ali Haj Aghayari, 62 is sentenced to death and his appeal is rejected by the Supreme Court.
Aghayari who was previous a political prisoner in the 1980’s, is sentenced by branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court for Moharebeh (enemy of God) and association with the Mujahedin-e Khalgh Organization. This sentence was confirmed by branch 36 of the Revolutionary Court.
Jafar Kazemi is arrested in September 2009. He is sentenced to death by branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court and confirmed by branch 36. Also Jafar is in imminent danger of execution.

Reza Shahabi, a member of Tehran Bus Union’s board of directors, has been held in prison limbo in ward 209 of Evinprison for over 3 months.
He was arrested June 12th and spent a month in isolated detention in ward 209.
He is suffering from neck pain and digestive problems.

September 10th is the political activist Reza Kermani, 77 along with Hossein Shahriari arrested on their way to Isfahan. Kermani was under intensive medical care before his detainment for kidneyproblems, bloodpressure and medication to prevent a stroke.
According to Committee of Human Rights Reporters he suffered a brain stroke twice and has been on chemotherapy for several years.
Currently, he does not have access to his medications.
