Iran: responsible


Mehdi Karroubi, wrote a letter to Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the chairman of the counsel of experts.
In this letter he states that under the Constitution the Supreme Leader is responsible and that the board of experts has to prevent the abuse of power by authorities in Iran.
He writes, among other things, that the spiritual leader in Iran at least 10 times can be hold responsible in regards to human rights violations and disrespect for humans in general.

On the first day of his visit to the United States said president Ahmadinejad in an interview with AP that "the future belongs to Iran,"
This is his 7e trip to the USA to attend the annual General Assembly of the United Nations this week.
Worldwide are rallies planned to demonstrate against this visit.
