Iran: further

Ali Shakoori-Raad member of the central council of Participation Front wrote for his arrest a note in which he emphasizes that he firmly stands by his beliefs and reformist ideas and asked his family to stay strong and patient and ignore the advice of government authorities who would demand them to stay silent.
He also wrote that he has trust in the honesty of the Green Leaders.

According to Fars Newsagency a judicial branch in Be’sat sentenced a man to cut of his hand for stealing cash from a confectionary store, 6 months incarceration for destruction of property, reimbursement of the stolen amount and six months for disobedience to and fleeing from the police.

Mohammad Banazadeh-Amirkhizi is sentenced to 5 years in prison and exile to the Gohardasht Prison.He was arrested in November 2009 and his trial was held without the presence of his lawyer.
His wife, Shahla Zarrinfar is was released after serving one year sentence for visiting her child in the Ashraf Camp.
His sister Kobra Banazadeh Amirkhizi is detained in Karaj Gohardasht Prison because she had the intention of visiting her children in the Ashraf Camp.
His brothers Asghar and Hamid Banazadeh had also been sentenced to 2 years in prison for visiting their children in the Ashraf Camp. They were released a while ago after serving their sentences.

Yesterday Iran released the American businessman Reza Taghavi, 71 after two years detention in Evinprison on suspicion of ties to an allegedly violent opposition group.
He was accused of passing $200 in cash to an Iranian man tied to an opposition group called Tondar. Taghavi said he believed it was a gift for someone in need.
