The son of prisoner of conscience Heshmatollah Tabarzadi who is sentenced to 9 years in prison and 74 lashes, said to International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran that his fathers sentence is under the influence of intelligence and security organizations and it is illegal.
Tabarzadi was arrested December 28, 2009 by the Ministry of Information and transferred to an unknown location. They also searched his home and took his personal items, computer, and his notes.

Blogger Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki, who blogs under the name of Babak Khorramdin, is sentenced by branch 26 of the revolutionary court to 15 years prison.
