Iran: prisoners

Ahmadinejad arrived in Lebanon for his 2-day visit. He
will meet President Michel Suleiman and Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
The visit is seen as a boost for the Hezbollah.

Since the arrest of blogger and activist for One Million Signatures Campaign Navid Mohebbi on September 18,there has been no news about his condition.
According to DaneshjouNews he is transferred to the detentioncentre from the ministry of information in Sari, Mazandaran.
Detainees had stated that the sanitary condition in the prison is poor.

Studentenactivist Siavash Mirzaei who studies at Rasht university was arrested October 9th in his fathers house.He had previously been detained in May of 2010 and had been released on a $15,000 bail.
His trial was October 2 at the Revolutionary Court in Ardabil. He is transferred to the Ardabil Intelligence Ministry.
He has not contacted his family since then.

Student and humanrightsactivist Mehdi Khodaei is sentenced to 3 more years in prison. Last year he was already sentenced to 4 years in prison.
In February he was convicted by branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of judge Salavati on charges of acting against national security by organizing gatherings and anti-regime propaganda.
March 3 he was arrested for the 2nd time by the cyberunit of the IRGC and has been held in Ward 2A of Evin Prison since then.

Studentactivist Amir Hossein Fatoohi who was arrested on February 11, sentenced to 3 years in prison on charges of acting against national security and 1 year for antiregimepropaganda.
He was secretary of Hormozgan School of Medicine Islamic Association and activist at Karoubi’s Free Citizen Campaign in province Hormozgan during presidential election.

Hadi Hakim-Shafaei a Bojnourd university professor is sentenced to 3 year prison by the revolutionary court.The charge of acting against national safety was acquitted by the Appeals court.For charges charges of insulting the Leader and antiregime propaganda, he was convicted to 1 year.
