Iran: strike

According to reports of Free Association of Iranian Workers 3000 workers of Barez Tires in Kerman went on strike September 27, protesting their working conditions and the non payment of overtime dues.
The workers have staged several protests in the past years.

The head of Haft Tapeh Sugar Cane Workers Syndicate, reported in an interview with Iranian Labour News Agency (ILNA) that the expulsions from four members of Haft Tapeh Syndicate, Fereidoun Nikoufard, Jalil Ahmadi, Ghorban Alipour, and Mohammad Heidari Mehr were affirmed by the city of Shush Workers Dispute Commission.

Davoud Ghasemzadeh a resident from Baradost in Oroumiyeh,who is imprisoned along with his brothers Javad and Baha since 9 months in the prison of Orumieh, is in hungerstrike since Thursday.
According to Mokrian News Agency Ghasemzadeh was shot when he was transporting fuel during a confrontation between the authorities and a Kurdish group and suffered a serious spinal cord injury.
