Laila Tavassoli, the daughter of Dr. Mohammad Tavassoli a senior member of Freedom Movement Party, who was arrested on Ashura last year, is sentenced to 2 years in prison.
Her uncle, Ebrahim Yazdi, Secretary General of Freedom Movement Party is the oldest political prisoner in ward 209 of Evinprison.
Her brother in law Farid Tahery is currently in ward 350 of Evinprison.

Journalist and member of Central Council of Defense of the Freedom of Press, Issa Saharkhiz is transferred to the prisonclinic of the Rajaee Shahrprison, where he will undergo surgery for an internal bleeding.
He is incarcerated since July 2009 and is not allowed a medical leave.

The blogger Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki, who blogged under the name of Babak Khorramdin is in appeal also sentenced to 15 years in prison.
He is in jail since December 2009 and was only 4 times allowed to have a visit from his family.
Currently he is detained in Ward 2A of Evinprison along with Mehdi Khodaei.

In Kermanshah Centralprison is an amputationsentence carried out in full view of a group of prisoners.
A prisoner who did not return from a leave and was arrested a year later committing another robbery and subsequently confessed to 57 charges of robbery was sentenced to amputation and the prosecutor ordered that in addition to the incarcerated thieves a group of prisoners dubbed as “local Thugs, hoodlums and Riff Raffs should also be present to ‘learn’ a lesson.

Ayatollah Khamenei released 7 political prisoners with prisonsentences from one to three years, on the occasion of Eid-e Qadir.
Last week 19 students also received pardons.

December 2nd is journalist Emaddedin Baghi summoned to return to prison to start serving his prisonsentence.
Baghi is sentenced to 1 year in prison and a ban of 5 years from working as a journalist by judge Salavati of 15 branch of the revolutionary court, for his activities in the Association for the Defense of Detainee Rights.

Journalist and blogger, Saeed Pourheydar is sentenced to 5 years in prison which was suspended for 5 years.
He is charged with “propaganda activities against the regime, blasphemy and questioning Islamic principles, disturbing public order by participating in illegal gatherings, assembly and collusion against national security and insulting the president.
